The Little Crooked Bookshelf

Yeti, Turn Out the Light!
by Greg Long and Chris Edmundson
Illustrated by Wednesday Kirwan

What it's all about...
It’s time for bed, but Yeti can’t sleep — he keeps seeing scary shadows on the wall. When he turns on the light, he discovers that the shadows are just his forest friends, looking for a cuddle.

Why it's on The Little Crooked Bookshelf...
We’re big fans of San Francisco-based Gama-Go, makers of fun and funky merch featuring characters like Yeti. Just when we thought they couldn’t get any cooler, they turn their talents to making this dreamy picture book!

Our favorite lines...
So Yeti heads home, eats his dinner, and flosses. Then he snuggles into bed, but he turns and he tosses.

Our favorite illustration...

Why kids will love it...
A super-fun bedtime book with a hairy (and unscary) protagonist.

Why grown-ups will love it...
Hip artwork and a comforting message will send little ones off to bed in style!
