Literary Lunch: Happy Birthday A.A. Milne!

“It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like 'What about lunch?'"
― A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh

What about lunch? Oh, yes! That reminds us! We are a tad behind on posting this marvelous birthday Literary Lunch in honor of A.A. Milne's birthday (January 18th.) But really, it's never too late to celebrate that lovable, silly old bear, and the man who created him, is it?  Of course not!

Nina from Mamabelly Lunches with Love, our talented friend and bento enthusiast, shared with us this very special Winnie-the-Pooh lunch.

Nina's oh-so-sweet Winnie-the-Pooh inspired bento lunch includes:
--Winnie-the-Pooh chocolate spread sandwich with cinnamon and jelly details
--a few Goldfish
--strawberries
--half an apple with a heart carved in

  1. This is called a healthy birthday lunch. Arranging a similar party for kids in the summer vacations at one of the best event venues Chicago is on my mind. Waffle bites, corns and creamy sandwiches would be done. Also some entertaining games and activities are suggested by my friend. Hope everything is done in budget.
