Literary Lunch ... Origami Yoda!

What's going on in the Cottage today? Nina of Mamabelly's Lunches with Love is here, and she's made us some out-of-this-world Origami Yoda lunches!

The Strange Case of Origami Yoda by Tom Angleberger follows the hilarious ups and downs of a sixth-grade class and Dwight, an unpopular kid, who talks to other kids via an origami finger puppet of Yoda. Origami Yoda predicts the date of a pop quiz, guesses who stole the class's Shakespeare bust, and saves someone from a popularity-crushing embarrassment. But how can Origami Yoda be so wise when Dwight seems so clueless?

Our Origami Yoda Literary Lunch is filled with:
  • broccoli and cheese stars
  • an Origami Yoda pepperoni-and-salad wrap with a green grape light saber
  • kiwi and strawberries with more light sabers (you can never have enough of those!)
  • and a Star Wars swirled yogurt with a Yoda wafer
  • all contained in a Laptop Lunchbox

Thanks, Nina! For more of Nina's brilliant bento box lunches for kids, visit her popular website, Mamabelly's Lunches with Love.

Read all of the books in this witty series, make the lunch, and learn how to fold your own Origami Yoda! And stay tuned for the final case file, Emperor Pickletine Rides the Bus, coming August 12th!
